Engine 2, Brush 2 and Tanker 2 responded before arriving engine 2 was advised that the trailer was now involved so the full box was dispatched bringing QA Sta 7 Crumpton and Sta 3 Galena QA Sta 6 Sudlersville Sta 6 chestertown and Sta 4 kennedyville. The crews from Engine 2 and Brush 2 started fire attack QA Engine 71 arrived next and also assisted with fire attack. Command then placed the box under control with units working. Thanks to all who responded and units on location



May 11th 2015

Our members had a yard clean up around the outside of the firehouse. We would like to thank Hardwood Mills for donating the mulch!

May 3rd 2015

Engine 2, with a staffing of five, is standing by till 6 am at Hacks Point, Station 9. The members of The Community Volunteer Fire Company of Millington would like to send their condolences to the officers and members of Hacks Point.

April 30th 2015

At 2:08pm kent dispatched station 2, 3 and QA 7. Engine 2 arrived to find one tractor heavily involved lines were pulled from engine 2 and all three company's worked together to put the fire out Asst. Chief 3-1 had command.

April 14th 2015 Early morning accident 301 and 290. Asst. Chief 2 arrived with one tractor trailer overturned with the patient out of the truck. Ambulance 2, Rescue 2 and Engine 2 arrived and and assisted rescue pumper 3 with the fuel leak paramedic 3 transported local. Command was turned over to capt. 3 and station 2 units cleared. Station 2 units were staffed with a total of 15 volunteers

March 22nd 2015

Chief 4 arrived to find a illegal control burn Engine 2, Brush 2, and Tanker 2 responded. Brush 2 and Engine 2 put the fire under control and units returned to services.

On Saturday February 28th and March 1st  2015  MVFC hosted a county wide drill involving Ice Water rescue. Several companies of Kent Co participated, we would like to Thank all the companies and members who participated.

On February 17th 2015 Rescue 2 is back and in service after compartments have been reorganized and tools remounted thanks to DPC Emergency Equipmentfor their great work!















 
On February
 7th 2015  Rescue 2 was taken to DPC Emergency Equipment getting the compartments rebuilt and equipment remounted






We would like to congratulate Chief Jesse Downey Sr & past Chief CJ Morales for being inducted in the Hall of Fame for K & Q.A. County Association this evening !!



On November 26th 2013 at 01:58 pm box 20-13 Station 2 was alerted for an MVC involving Hazmat.  Route 301 NB/ RR tracks. Apparatus alerted includes: E2,E3,QAET 7,R2,RP3,A2 A3,EMS 1-4,QPM 600,ERT 4,ERT 7.

On January 9th 2014 00:52 hours station 2 was alerted for a Multi Dwelling Working House Fire in the 50-1 box (Betterton MD). The fire was a 3 story structure  with flames showing on the first floor. Fire come to become a 3 box alarm. After having Kent DE Eng 45 standby at our station ,they were requested to the scene. We later had Marydel tanker 56 arrive at our station, including Kent DE  Eng 43. Approximately 25 companies from Kent, Queen Annes, Cecil, Caroline, Talbot in Maryland, New Castle, Kent in Delaware were either involved at either the scene or covering stations. 7 families were left without homes that morning.

January 7th 2014 we assisted Sudlersville with a trailer fire on Barcly rd. Engine 2 was due.
